TETIN
TETIN (TetGen Input format) is used by ANSYS ICEM CFD and the open-source TetGen mesh generator for unstructured mesh generation. LinkCAD exports 2D layout data as extruded 3D geometry in TETIN format.

How It Works
LinkCAD takes each 2D polygon in the layout and extrudes it along the Z-axis, producing a 3D surface mesh in TETIN format. The resulting geometry can be used as input for TetGen or ICEM CFD meshing.
Common Workflows
GDSII → TETIN
Convert IC mask layout to 3D TETIN geometry for electromagnetic or CFD mesh generation.
Technical Notes
- TETIN is export-only in LinkCAD
- The 3D Modeler license bundle is required
